Hi, my name is Steve Livingston.

I am a Chartered Accountant, tax advisor and Founder of a progressive tax advisory firm, ip tax solutions, based in the north west although my clients span the entire UK.
I am focused on helping companies inject more cash into their business by:
- Securing R&D tax credits – many companies are still failing to maximise or even claim R&D tax credit incentives under this fantastic scheme. I work on a success based ‘no win / no fee’ basis so there is absolutely no downside in us exploring this for you;
- Tax efficient funding – much of my work in this area involves tax structuring advice in relation to investment under the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) or Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) e.g. HMRC advance assurance applications and commenting on existing and proposed structures to help iron out any potential problems up front;
- Accessing and maximising claims under the ‘Patent Box’ tax incentive – this can result in companies having much of their profits subject to corporation tax at just 10%;
- I am also busy advising clients on tax breaks for creative industries including Video Games Tax Relief; High End Television production and Animation tax reliefs.
I am a husband and father of three wonderful kids and a slobbering golden retriever.
